Country of Origin (COO) is a brand new tool that will reduce fraud. This tool takes a look at the originating IP Address of the user accessing your online store.
It then quickly looks up the country that the IP block belongs to.
This way you can see if the Billing Address or the Shipping Address match the Country of Origin.
Another use is to simply ban certain countries from purchasing from your store.
You could also dynamically send the customer to the appropriate language content of your site or direct them to their nearest reseller.
